Cable Incline Bench Press
The cable incline bench press is a chest exercise performed on an incline bench using cable handles. It targets the upper pectorals and also works the deltoids and triceps. The cable resistance provides constant tension throughout the movement, making it effective for building strength and muscle in the upper chest.
Step-by-Step Form & Technique
- 1.Adjust the bench to a 45-degree incline.
- 2.Attach the cable handles to the high pulleys.
- 3.Sit on the bench facing the cable machine with your feet flat on the ground.
- 4.Grasp the handles with an overhand grip and bring them to shoulder height.
- 5.Push the handles forward and upward until your arms are fully extended.
- 6.Pause for a moment, then slowly lower the handles back to the starting position.
- 7.Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
